2001 Indian Census

India collected its 14th Census in February. 2001. Results are just now being published. The Census provides no public use micro data file but does publish (both on CDs and paper) a broad variety of area-based tables. These are collected under various headings:

The data collection forms used a mere two pages for each household and one more for a house listing. Copies of these forms will be supplied.
